The Human Resource Administrator will provide pivotal administration support to both the Director of Human Resources and Human Resource Manager with all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

You might be a HR or Business graduate or currently studying in a related field or have previous admin experience in a transferable field

Your day-to-day

Manage end-to-end recruitment, drafting contracts, completing Vevo checks, administering onboarding and offboarding processes for our hotel colleagues, ensuring a seamless experience

You will be the HR team first point of enquiry for a range of HR & Payroll related questions from hotel staff and leaders

Assist with a broad range of HR administration including contracting, employee onboarding & off boarding, database management, posting job ads on our recruitment platform, HR reporting, managing HR files, all whilst providing quality, high volume admin support to the HR team.

Managing all employee e-files and ensuring all compliance records and documents up to data

Amazing communication skills both on the phone & in person

This a varied and super busy role for someone able to set their own pace; a self starter who can work autonomously within our fast paced team. You must be a people person, enjoy interacting with all levels of the business, guest facing and comfortable juggling multiple tasks and priorities.

This role requires strong analytical skills and you will work closely with the HR department, finance team, payroll team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance, efficiency, and a positive employee experience.

What We Need From You

Prior experience as HR administrator, admin assistant or payroll or similar

Ability to work autonomously, be proactive and take accountability for workload and key deliverables within a project timelines

This role is heavily administration focused so you will be a whizz at all things Microsoft, Excel, Canva, HRIS and databases and super confident with all things admin, producing reports, drafting letters, auditing files.

You must be a people person, enjoy interacting with all levels of the business and comfortable juggling multiple tasks and priorities.

Ability to manage multiple tasks whilst demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Strong communications skills that can build professional rapport with department managers, leaders and colleagues.

Tertiary studies in Human Resources, Training or Business Administration preferred

Previous HR experience within Hotel Industry or within Tourism and Hospitality is desired

Minimum of one (1) years’ experience in a Human Resources capacity

Tech savvy and able to learn new systems easily

Immaculate presentation and grooming, we are a high-end luxury hotel

Our systems are Oracle, Preceda and UKG so experience in any of those systems is highly regarded
