We are a dynamic and fast-growing residential and commercial construction company based in Sydney. We are committed to delivering high-quality, innovative, and sustainable building solutions. Due to continued business expansion, we are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to join our team and support day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the administrative functions of the head office to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.

• Manage daily office activities including scheduling, document control, correspondence, and general administration.

• Assist with project support, including tracking construction schedules, purchase orders, and subcontractor agreements.

• Monitor office systems, including supplier invoices, payroll records, and general accounts coordination in conjunction with the external accountant.

• Liaise with internal departments (project managers, site supervisors, estimators) to support workflow efficiency.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, WHS regulations, and record-keeping standards.

• Supervise and support administrative staff, allocate workloads, and conduct performance reviews.

• Assist with HR administration, onboarding new staff, maintaining employee records, and coordinating staff training and development.

• Manage office supplies and building maintenance needs.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in an office management or senior administrative role (construction or related industries preferred).

Strong organisational and time management skills with attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems.

Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Understanding of workplace health and safety and general HR practices.

Tertiary qualification in business administration or related discipline is desirable.
