MAYDAY Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a leading organisation in the insurance industry to recruit multiple Claims Support Officers for a growing team based in North Sydney. These positions are offered on a temporary basis with an immediate start.
This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced environment where you will regularly communicate with clients, brokers, and internal claims consultants. The role offers a mix of customer service and administrative responsibilities, providing valuable experience within the insurance sector.
As a Claims Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for brokers. Your responsibilities will include managing enquiries, processing payments, and supporting the wider team by ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.

- North Sydney location - central offices, next to public transport links.
- Hybrid working model – work from home up to 3 days per week after training.
- Join a large office and work alongside experienced claims consultants and managers.
- Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to broker enquiries, ensuring accurate information is relayed to internal claims consultants.
- Direct calls and emails to the appropriate team members, following established procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Support claims consultants with tasks such as processing payments and coding invoices.
- Work with various claim types, accurately applying relevant codes and incident numbers.
- Deliver exceptional customer service in every interaction, maintaining a helpful and solutions-focused approach.
- Provide essential administrative support to the insurance team, helping to ensure claims are managed and resolved within required timeframes.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience within insurance or financial services is desirable but not essential.
- High attention to detail when managing data and documents.
- Ability to navigate multiple systems while multitasking.
- Clear, professional communication skills, verbal and written.
- Australian working rights and availability to start next week.
