Temp/Contract - Claims Consultant

RATE: $45-50 per hour (dependent on experience)
TYPE: Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
DURATION: 3 month contract
LOCATION: Manly, NSW
START: ASAP

Join a fast-growing insurance underwriter as a Claims Consultant! We’re looking for two dedicated individuals to manage the end-to-end process for personal accident & liability claims. Quik turnaround with immediate start!

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Manage the full claims process from lodgement to settlement
• Liaise with customers to provide empathetic and professional support
• Act as the initial lodgement point for customers
• Negotiate options as required for accurate processing of claims
• Work within set procedures and standards to ensure all claims are processed in an efficient and effective manner

We are looking for someone with:

• Proven track record of claims management experience in a general insurance environment – personal accident experience preferred but not essential
• Great communication and phone skills
• A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
• Highly organise and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Proven analytical and critical thinking capabilities
• Ability to show empathy and compassion by providing best commercial outcome
