CTO Global Logistics are seeking an enthusiastic Business Development Manager to join our NSW Team. This will be a hybrid, flexible position with expectation of a significant amount of time to be spent on the road and in face-to-face meetings.

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and dynamic, able to bounce back from rejection and move onto the next target. This role would suit either someone from within the freight forwarding industry, potentially in a customer service role, looking to take next step in their career into Sales, or someone from outside of the industry with sales experience looking for a change in environment. On the job training would be provided as required.

This role is also open to experienced candidates who can deliver short term value to the company. Pay and incentives will be negotiable given experience.

To be successful you will need:

· Previous experience either in the freight forwarding industry or a Sales based role

· Self-driven and motivated, with strong work ethic

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address client needs

· Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident

· Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals

Duties include but not be limited to:

· Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand CTO’s client base

· Developing and implementing effective sales and marketing strategies to promote the company's freight forwarding services

· Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients, understanding their unique needs and requirements

· Negotiating and closing deals to secure new business contracts

· Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction

· Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities

· Reporting on sales performance and providing recommendations to the management team
