Key Responsibilities:

Tendering & Cost Estimation:

Review and analyze enquiry documentation to fully understand the scope, requirements, and conditions

Quantify the extent of works required based on tender documents, specifications, and drawings.

Identify and evaluate commercial and technical risks, offering the best solutions.

Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, including detailed bills of quantities.

Ensure all tender-related documents, communications, and client queries are maintained in an organized and controlled manner.

Prepare and present the commercial aspects of tenders to Company Director for approval.

Prepare and manage all variation including drawings, Scope changes through out the project.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Client Engagement:

Build strong client relationships by understanding and addressing key requirements and expectations.

Lead commercial tender submissions and presentations to clients, ensuring clarity and professionalism.

Support the construction delivery team by providing a detailed commercial handover, ensuring smooth project execution.

Work closely with project teams to gather post-tender feedback, refining future estimating strategies.

Skills and Experience:

Experience within a Formwork/Concrete Company

Years of demonstrable success securing new work

Ability to manage multiple tenders at different stages of a tender lifecycle at one time

Demonstrable experience of dealing with multiple clients, forms of contract and methods of measurement

Proficient in Microsoft, Excel, Word and the like.

Experience with Bluebeam, Cost x or similar system.

Sound technical ability and able to interpret plans, drawings and specifications.
