THE ROLE

Due to 2 large clients coming onboard, this is a newly created role for a Supervisor / Assistant Manager to slot into the existing business advisory team, which sits at 7*.

This is a role where you will be leveraging your technical knowledge, client management skills, and leadership to build up, and mentor the intermediate and senior accountants in your team. On offer across a diverse and high level client portfolio is an opportunity to genuinely add value through high level advisory work, leadership, and applying your technical skills.

Some of your duties will include:

Research on complex tax issues for private and corporate clients

Preparation and presentation of tax matters

High level advisory work clients and other stakeholders

Preparation of Tax Returns, & Financial Statements for all types of entities

Liaising with the ATO on taxation matters

Managing and mentoring junior accountants (1 senior, 1 intermediate, 1 graduate)

THE INDIVIDUAL

The suitable candidate will possess the following:

5+ years’ experience in Business Services (in an Australian Accounting firm)

CA or CPA qualifications (Necessary)

Experience in a mid tier firm (preferred)

Genuine interest and or qualifications in tax

Exceptional interpersonal skills- both written & verbal

A natural leadership style, bringing up the people around you
