We are currently recruiting Leading hand roles for casual, potential temp-to-perm roles in Wanneroo. If you have a strong background in road maintenance or civil construction, we want to hear from you!

Job Details

Leading Hand positions located in Wanneroo

Casual, ongoing assignment, temp to perm opportunities

Monday - Friday 06:00am - 15:00pm with 1 RDO each fortnight

$43.70 Per Hour + Super

Role Description

Road construction and maintenance tasks including concreting, pothole repair, trench digging, and pipelaying

Installation of signage and guard rails; verge care and general site clean-up

Coastal Work, footpath work, drainage

Operation of small plant and equipment (e.g., excavators, bobcats)

What We’re Looking For:

Essential Requirements:

Previous experience in civil construction or road works including concreting, pipelaying and drainage

Minimum MR Class WA Driver’s Licence (HR and higher very desirable)

Full Working Rights in Australia

Construction induction White Card

National Police Clearance (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain

The ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol Screening

Familiarity with civil construction tools and machinery

Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor manual labour

Strong team player who can follow instructions

Desirable Skills & tickets:

Experience operating bobcats and excavators

Basic Worksite Traffic Management (BWTM) or other traffic management accreditations
