I am currently representing a reputable Tier 2 commercial builder seeking a driven Safety Advisor to support a standout team on a flagship Gold Coast development.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of safety on-site—driving compliance, championing a strong safety culture, and supporting the project team through audits, reporting, and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain project-specific HSE plans and procedures
• Mentor staff, subcontractors, and site teams on best safety practices
• Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks
• Lead incident investigations and assist with internal and external audits
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance across the project

To be successful in this role will have prior experience as a Safety Advisor within commercial construction and a strong history of tenure with reputable builders.

About you

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar HSE role within commercial construction
• Solid, broad-based HSE experience within the commercial construction sector
• Certificate IV in WHS/OHS (minimum)
• High-value commercial project experience
