Vitrafy Life Sciences Limited (Vitrafy) is an early stage ASX listed Australian company that has designed and developed an innovative solution for the advancement of the cryopreservation of biological materials. Cryopreservation is used in many industries but is having a growing impact in animal breeding and human health treatments such as IVF, biobanking and cell & gene therapies. Vitrafy’s cryopreservation technology has been proven to substantially increase cell survival and functionality when compared to many industry and regulatory standards and is therefore expected to have a significant impact on both human and animal health treatments.

The Role:
As the HR Manager, you will lead and shape Vitrafy’s HR strategies, initially in Australia and USA, ensuring a positive employee experience, strong performance culture, and compliance with all regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Engagement & Culture:
Design and implement initiatives that drive engagement and build strong workplace relationships.
Organise team-building activities and recognition programs to boost employee satisfaction.
Foster open communication and act as a bridge between employees and leadership.
Performance & Remuneration:
Implement and coach the team on performance and remuneration frameworks.
Lead the Annual Remuneration Review, ensuring fair market compensation.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
Oversee smooth onboarding and offboarding processes.
Champion a person-centred approach to enhance the overall employee experience.
Employee Relations & Compliance:
Ensure compliance with policies, contracts, and OH&S standards.
Provide guidance on employee relations, handling grievances fairly and effectively.
Capability & Career Development:
Source and deliver development programs to enhance leaders and employee capability
Work with leadership to identify and address competency needs.
Talent Acquisition:
Strengthen our EVP and lead talent acquisition efforts across Australia and the USA.
Work Health & Safety (WHS):
Implement WHS policies and foster a Zero Harm culture through wellness initiatives.
Key Selection Criteria:
Qualifications & Experience:
HR degree or related field and experience in HR, compliance, and talent management.
Experience in a greenfield standalone role, preferably in a start-up environment.
Skills & Knowledge:
HRIS and Microsoft apps experience; strong project management skills.
Personal Attributes:
Adaptable, dedicated, and a strong leader with a positive outlook.
