About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and confident HR Generalist to take ownership of day-to-day HR operations and support key initiatives across the employee lifecycle. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is looking to contribute to everything from recruitment and onboarding to employee engagement, compliance, and HR projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, changes, and offboarding
- Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy in the HRIS
- Coordinate training sessions, performance reviews, and engagement activities
- Provide generalist HR support and advice to managers and employees
- Draft and manage HR documentation such as contracts, variation letters, and reports
- Support HR initiatives such as enterprise agreements, salary reviews, and HRIS implementation
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant employment legislation
- Collaborate with payroll and other departments to ensure seamless HR operations
- Take initiative in managing priorities and delegating tasks when required
What You’ll Bring
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or currently studying (preferred)
- 2–5 years’ experience in a broad HR Generalist role
- Previous experience in a standalone HR role or confidence to operate independently
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build trust across teams
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- A proactive, adaptable mindset and the ability to manage confidential information with professionalism
