You’ll be working directly with the founders in their Bondi Junction offices. You will be supported by an external bookkeeping and Tax provider, but the finance leadership and strategic influence will sit with you.

In this role, you will need to be a commercially sharp and hands-on Financial Controller, who thrives in ownership of the finance function from end to end.

Paying up to 150 + Super + possible bonus and with working flexibility, you will be a critical part of the next phase of the business’ significant growth.

You’ll be the go-to person for cashflow forecasting, tax advice implementation, R&D claims, group structure strategy and more

What you’ll be doing:

Oversee month-end reporting, board packs and group consolidation.

Lead cashflow modelling, forecasting and budgeting across all entities.

Own tax structuring and intercompany loan management, liaising with advisors and supporting R&D claims.

Manage AP, AR, payroll and Xero-based reconciliations (with internal and external support).

Partner with founders and advisors on strategic decision-making and funding preparation.

Lead process improvement, controls implementation and eventual systems upgrades.

You’ll be a great fit if you:

Are CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical background.

Have experience working in a multi-entity, high-growth environment.

Have been the go-to finance person in a startup, fintech or commercial SME.

Know how to balance strategy with getting your hands dirty.

Bring a proactive mindset - you’re comfortable leading finance, advising founders, and spotting what others don’t.

Thrive in environments with lots of moving parts and cross-border complexity.

Are calm, low-ego, switched-on and genuinely energised by problem-solving.
