About the Role

This is not a corporate risk role. It’s a hands-on, technically aligned ICT Governance position embedded within a large scale IT branch. Your focus will be on supporting cybersecurity frameworks, audit readiness, compliance activities, and ICT GRC reporting within a large, complex ICT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of ICT governance frameworks and methodologies.
• Contribute to audit preparation, IS18 Attestation, and compliance reporting.
• Assist in improving security posture using frameworks such as ISO27001, ISM, and the ACSC Essential Eight.
• Coordinate ICT GRC activities, develop audit responses, and track remediation.
• Deliver clear and concise reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Provide secretariat support for ICT governance forums and committees

Essential requirements

• 2+ years in IT GRC, security audit, or compliance roles.
• Familiar with ICT environments in Local, State, or Federal Government.
• Qualifications or demonstrated experience in cybersecurity, governance, or information management.
• Experience with SFIA-aligned capabilities such as Business Process Improvement and Information Management.
