We are seeking a passionate and experienced Food Services Lead / Partner to champion hospitality excellence across our residential aged care homes. In this pivotal role, you will ensure our food and dining services consistently meet and exceed resident expectations, providing enjoyable, nutritious, and culturally appropriate meals in a welcoming environment. You'll collaborate with residents and staff to elevate the dining experience and promote a sense of belonging.
In this role you will:
- Drive a culture of hospitality excellence aligned with aged care quality standards.
- Lead the development of diverse, resident friendly menus that reflect choice and nutritional needs.
- Ensure the highest standard of meal preparation, presentation, and service across all homes.
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to continuously improve the food services experience.
- Provide coaching and guidance to kitchen and food servery staff, ensuring customer-centric service delivery.
- Partner with residents, staff, and stakeholders to design inclusive, culturally responsive food services.
- Maintain compliance with NSW Food Authority Regulations and Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Lead internal audits, manage complaints strategically, and identify service improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate on procurement, budgeting, and hospitality equipment upgrades.
- Monitor performance, drive innovation, and lead a culture of safety, learning, and accountability.
About you
We are interested in hearing from you if you have:
- Proven leadership in food service or hospitality within aged care, healthcare, or similar settings.
- Strong understanding of nutrition, special dietary needs, and food safety standards.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams, service improvement initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Commitment to customer service, quality outcomes, and resident dignity and choice.
- Understanding of NSW Food Authority and Aged Care Quality Standards.
- Relevant qualifications in hospitality, nutrition, food safety or a related field (highly desirable).
