Manager of Development

Full-Time Position
Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 per annum (pro rata) dependant on qualifications and experience

The Shire is seeking an experienced and driven Manager of Development to join the Executive Management Team to build upon past success and guide the Shire through the next phase of development and growth. The preferred candidate will be a natural leader, excellent communicator, politically astute and will participate widely in community projects.

Operationally, the purpose of this position is to ensure that the Shire of Jerramungup complies with all responsibilities defined by Local Planning Schemes, Local Laws, relevant Government Acts, subsidiary regulations and government policies.

The position will be offered on a performance-based contract of up to five years with an attractive remuneration package which includes:

A base salary range of $100,000 – $130,000 per annum (pro rata);

Rent free Executive housing in Bremer Bay and utility subsidy;

Five (5) weeks annual leave (no loading);

Private use of a Council vehicle;

11.5% employer contributed superannuation;
