Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for credit assessment and decision-making of unsecured loans, including BNPL, personal loans, and credit cards

Ensure all credit origination aligns with legislative requirements, internal policies, and procedures

Maintain high standards of compliance and risk management in credit decisions

Support efficient and accurate credit processes to meet service level expectations

Enhance application processing efficiency while maintaining strong underwriting standards

Underwrite both recurring and closed-end credit products

Collaborate with business and product teams to improve scorecards and reporting

Own key credit decisions and help build better underwriting processes

What You’ll Bring:

Proven track record of 5+ years in credit underwriting across consumer credit cards, personal loans, BNPL, and other financial products

Extensive experience across Australia’s consumer credit market.

Strong knowledge of credit agencies and Australia's comprehensive credit reporting framework

Proven experience underwriting high-volume, high-velocity deals

Proven ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced point-of-sale environment
