We're working with a fast-growing financial services business looking to hire an experienced Credit Analyst/Underwriter to support the assessment and decisioning of unsecured consumer credit products, including: BNPL, personal loans, and credit cards. This role is ideal for someone with expertise in the Australian consumer credit space and a strong track record of working in fast-paced environments.

The Role:

• Assess and decision credit applications within your delegated authority
• Ensure compliance with NCCP, responsible lending, and internal credit policies
• Prioritise and manage high-volume queues across automated and manual systems
• Recommend improvements to underwriting processes, scorecards, and credit policies
• Review portfolio performance and provide actionable insights
• Support escalated decisions and contribute to real-time credit interventions
• Flexible to work late shifts and/or weekends as needed

What We're Looking For:

• 4+ years of experience in consumer credit analysis/underwriting (BNPL, personal loans, credit cards)
• Strong understanding of Australian credit regulations and reporting agencies
• Proven ability to manage high-volume credit decisions under pressure
• Skilled in assessing both recurring and closed-end lines of credit
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on outcomes and compliance
• Flexibility and resilience to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
