Approach Consulting is seeking a Finance Officer to join the corporate services team for a Canberra based commercial organisation. In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining data accuracy, and assisting with financial reporting. You'll work across accounts, payroll, reporting, purchasing, and project support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices and customer payments efficiently.
• Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely reconciliation and payment.
• Provide payroll processing support as required
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare reports for the parent company’s statutory and management reporting requirements.
• Deliver financial reports to support General Managers and the Executive General Manager as needed.
• Maintain project data in project management software: set up new projects, assign resources, and update resourcing details.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a finance or bookkeeping role
• Proficiency in Xero
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
