The Accounts Payable team, within Shared Services Finance, has several Senior Finance Officer (ASO4) vacancies and are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic team players to join our team of experts.
The Accounts Payable function sits within the Finance Operations area of Shared Services Finance. Finance Operations are well known for providing exceptional accounts payable, banking operations, and business intelligence services across the ACT Government.
We are seeking enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals to join our team. In this fast-paced role you will be responsible for undertaking a range of support services and technical accounts payable functions.
The Accounts Payable work area is a rewarding and busy function, and to set you apart from other candidates’, exceptional time management, problem solving, and analytical skills is a must! With a strong customer focus, the team must work collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to deliver integrated finance service operations on behalf of the Territory.
To be successful in this role you should have a strong understanding of the work practices and procedures that underpin a successful finance operations environment.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Finance Operations environment is highly desirable.
Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for six months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. All vacancies are available immediately. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill future identical vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be made on application and referees report only.
