We are a concrete cutting company operating in the construction and maintenance sector. This role is based in our Melbourne Office in Altona North and is part-time, 2-3 days per week.
We require the services of a part time bookkeeper to manage the financial functions of our business which comprises 2 separate entities. The successful candidate should have at least 3 years bookkeeping experience and have a good knowledge of Xero. Full training will be provided and we offer a competitive salary for the right person.
Qualifications & experience
3 years minimum book keeping experience
Working with multiple entities and inter-company transactions
BAS experience
Payroll experience
Xero experience preferred
Accurate data entry
Construction industry experience preferred (but not essential)
Tasks & responsibilities
Weekly payroll processing
Accounts Receivable/Invoicing and debt collection
Preparation of quarterly BAS
Preparation and processing of weekly payroll
Bank reconciliations
Accounts payable/EOM creditor payments
Good communication skills ability to work autonomously
Monthly compliances
