About the Role:

In the newly created role of Production Estimator at Supremewalls, you will play a pivotal role in servicing our customers in VIC, NSW & QLD. This role will be responsible for managing estimation, job creation, and invoicing processes for production, ensuring accuracy and timely communication across teams.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented estimator to take full ownership of our pricing and become our pre-build panel expert. The Production Estimator will play a key role in streamlining workflows and maintaining up-to-date records in Simpro, whilst also assisting our Managing Director with ad hoc tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Be our price file expert and know our pre-build panels back-to-front which involves:

- Maintaining an up-to-date and competitive price file and promptly adjusting prices to reflect any supplier price changes

- Developing templates (prebuilds) for our standard panels, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Providing accurate quotes for any custom (non-standard) panels requested by clients

Accurately interpreting plans and specifications sent by our customers to generate jobs

Managing supplier orders and delivery times to assist with production workflow

Assisting with stock control and stock takes as required

Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers and internal team members

Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements

Assisting the Managing Director with any ad hoc tasks as required

Skills and experience

Proven experience in production estimation or a similar role within manufacturing or residential construction

Excellent communication skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive attitude.

Experience with Google Suite & Simpro would be an advantage
