About the role

DC ELECTRIC' is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Leading Hand/Qualified Electrician to join our team in Wallerawang, NSW.

This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business, providing critical electrical maintenance and repair services to support our vital work.

What you'll be doing

Overseeing and directing the work of a small team of electricians to complete scheduled and reactive maintenance tasks.

Performing complex electrical installations, maintenance and repairs to high-voltage and low-voltage electrical equipment.

Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults and implementing solutions to restore operations.

Interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics to guide the work of the team.

Maintaining detailed records and documentation of all work undertaken.

What we're looking for

Qualified electrician with a current unrestricted NSW Electrical Licence/Supervisor Licence

Experience working as an electrician in a mining/industrial environment.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills, with the ability to effectively manage a small team.

Excellent electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting abilities.

Strong working knowledge of electrical schematics, drawings and documentation.

Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment
