This pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading
- Initial 6-month contract with possible extension paying approx. $917/day
- Brisbane CBD Location with flexibility to WFH 2 days per week
Our client, a large complex Queensland Government Department, is undertaking a Finance Modernisation Program over the next two years. The Program is currently sourcing 2 x Senior Change & Communications Analyst to start ASAP.
The modernisation journey includes modern services that can be consumed simply, easily and conveniently with a focus on proving services through customer self-service.
This project will be a partnership between 21 client agencies who consume finance services, to move to more standardised finance processes and embracing new ways of working.
Your role
As the Senior Change & Communications Analyst, you will support change and communication delivery within the project to ensure effective change management and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
As the Senior Change and Communications Analyst, you will:
- Coordinate business change activities including the continued development of change management artefacts such as a communication plan, detailed impact assessment, business readiness assessment to ensure all change management activities are identified, scheduled, and managed across the lifecycle of the project.
- Manage the development of the Change Impact Assessment, development of change responses, training and business readiness activities relating to new business processes, system changes, and solution related changes.
- Preparing and delivering a range of communications to internal and external stakeholders, team members and governance bodies, to ensure that others are fully briefed on project objectives, tasks and progress.
- Represent the project as required in high level and often complex communications, collaboration, negotiations and other interactions with staff, clients, and other key stakeholders.

- Represent the project as required in high level and often complex communications, collaboration, negotiations and other interactions with staff, clients, and other key stakeholders.
- Lead collaboration with key business stakeholders to develop change management documentation, materials, and presentations necessary to implement, reinforce and sustain transformational change.
- Coordinate transformational change management, relating to business change projects including enabling of benefits realisation, stakeholder engagement, and communications and training within a complex organisation-wide project environment.
- Contribute to a culture which is team based, collaborative and consultative, and with outcome focused members, by sharing learning and supporting others. This is a hands-on delivery change and communications role
To thrive in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following:
- Demonstrated capability in change planning, analysis, resistance management, conceptualisation and problem solving, and management of multiple deliverables within agreed priorities, timeframes, and accountabilities.
- Proven experience in the development of documentation, implementation and evaluation of change management strategies, tools and artefacts in a complex project environment.
- Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relationships and cross-team collaboration to support effective business change and transition including the ability to influence key stakeholders in an environment of change.
- High level communication skills with demonstrated ability to provide advice, consultation and collaboration with senior management and a diverse range of stakeholders on complex and strategic issues.
