About the role
Join a team making a difference? We’re looking for an experienced communicator with a vision for all things digital. You’ll be responsible for creating and driving the digital communication platforms that promote and support IBA’s vision, including the website and social media. You will provide advice regarding digital developments, campaigns, and strategy to stakeholders across IBA, including senior leadership teams.
This role is responsible for leading and supervising team members within the digital communications area, including the social media coordinator. You’ll be working within a collaborative strategic communications team that is driven by strong values of community and culture.
What you’ll bring
· Experience in creation & management of strategic comms initiatives.
· Ability to problem-solve & confidently provide strategic advice.
· Excellent writing, editing, & project management skills in a multi-project environment.
· Experience with social media channels, their integration with a wider comms strategy & understanding of paid & organic digital promotions.
· Technical knowledge using content management platforms for websites.
· Self-motivated - ability to work unsupervised.
· Experience in supervising team members.
· Minimum five years’ experience in a communications role at mid/project manager level.
· Commitment to working ethically with & in the interests of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
