About the role
Sydney Markets is seeking a talented Digital Communications Coordinator to develop and maintain content across all Sydney Markets and Paddy’s websites, including SEO maintenance and reporting. Reporting to the Head of Communications, Engagement and Marketing, this role is fundamental in implementing cohesive messaging across the organisation digital strategies to enhance engagement of Sydney Markets diverse stakeholders.
Key responsibilities:
· Website audit and planning: After completing a content audit of all Sydney Markets and Paddy’s public and corporate websites and apps, collaborate internally to identify requirements and implement a refreshed digital communications plan, fit for purpose. As the owner of all websites, you will develop a process and templates for use within the business for website/app update requests.
· Digital communications: Passionate about writing and content, you will keep all public and corporate websites and apps up to date, making sure our content is audience-specific, using a consistent brand voice. Monthly SEO maintenance using relevant tools will be second nature to you, consistently enhancing our overall engagement success.
· Internal communications and CRM: Work with internal departments to review and update content on the intranet, fostering a collaborative and informed workplace. Work closely with the Communications, Engagement and Marketing team to support key campaigns, events and projects through the development and execution of eDMs. As the CRM administrator, you will take pride in auditing inputs and providing reporting outputs.
· Performance tracking and reporting: Establish and monitor monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of digital presence and engagement, including social media analytics, trends and consumer insights, to inform the Communications, Engagement and Marketing team’s overall marketing and communications strategy. We want you to be proactive in providing regular reports, insights and ideas that will help us continuously improve our engagement efforts.
Required qualifications and experience:
· Bachelor in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field.
· Minimum four years in a Communications/Marketing role.
· Proven experience using digital platforms including CMS (ModX), CRM, eDM, and social media.
· Proven experience writing with SEO, analytics and AI considerations.
· Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively cross-functionally and build relationships across all levels of the organisation.
· Strong project management abilities with the capability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
· Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, growing organisation.
· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
· High level of integrity and ethics.
· Desirable: experience with producing photography and videography for social media and online advertising.
