The Opportunity

We are working with a global leader in the tech industry, consistently recognised as one of Australia’s best places to work. This company is known for its inclusive culture, cutting-edge technology, and commitment to employee development and well-being. An exciting opportunity has become available to join their Onboarding Operations Team as a Project Coordinator, where you’ll play a key role in delivering seamless onboarding experiences for new hires across the APAC region. This is a 6-month contract with strong potential for extension.

The Responsibility

As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be the Sydney-based point of contact for onboarding logistics across multiple APAC hubs. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating onboarding programs, including registration, training schedules, logistics, and communications
  • Creating and managing enablement events, and assigning courses to new hire cohorts
  • Managing communications via email marketing tools and Slack for virtual and remote employees
  • Maintaining documentation, calendars, and onboarding materials
  • Providing timely updates to project leads and key stakeholders
  • Supporting daily operations such as in-person or virtual training setups and providing concierge-style service to new hires

You’ll be working closely with a global team across various time zones and will play a crucial role in standardising and streamlining onboarding processes.

The Expertise

We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with proven experience in project or program coordination. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and confident working both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential, along with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs). Familiarity with G Suite, Microsoft Office, Slack, Canva, Zoom, will be advantageous.
