About the role

Do you love arts and culture? Do you have experience providing excellent customer service? Yarra Ranges Council is seeking enthusiastic people to join our team as casual Cultural Experience Officers. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to vibrant arts and cultural experiences in the Yarra Ranges.

As a Cultural Experience Officer, you will be responsible for consistently delivering the highest standard of event delivery and front-of house services across Council's suite of venues. Our venues offer a diverse range of artistic disciplines, including exhibitions, film, performing arts, music, dance, and hire. You will create positive and meaningful experiences for those who visit our region and use our venues.

We have multiple casual positions available with an hourly rate of $42.11.

Experience and skills we’re looking for

Experience in delivering exceptional customer service.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.

Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Appreciation for the arts and cultural sector desirable, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new art forms.

Proficiency in computer systems.

Certificate II in First Aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate is required, or willingness to obtain.
