We’re now looking for a Compliance Manager to lead our business compliance function – ensuring BAS, tax returns, financials and advisory work are delivered accurately, on time, and with minimal fuss.

The Role
You’ll take ownership of the compliance workflow for our business clients. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll work closely with accountants, admin and directors to keep jobs moving, manage lodgement deadlines, and support the team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

Managing the end-to-end compliance workflow for business clients (companies, trusts, partnerships)

Overseeing the preparation and review of BAS, IAS, annual financials and income tax returns

Collaborating with admin and offshore teams to schedule and track jobs

Identifying and managing scope issues before they become problems

Supporting client managers with technical queries and lodgement requirements

Reviewing work for accuracy, completeness and compliance with tax laws

Training and mentoring junior team members and accountants

About You

CA or CPA qualified, with 5+ years in business services/public practice

Strong experience managing compliance work for business structures

Skilled in workflow management and process improvement

High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Confident using cloud-based systems like Xero, XPM and FYI Docs

A team player who enjoys helping others succeed
