Email Marketing Specialist (Part-Time, Maternity Cover, 12-Month Contract)
Location: Gold Coast, QLD (On-site for first three months, hybrid thereafter)
Hours: 15-20 hours per week

We’re passionate about providing innovative, high-quality sun-safe solutions, and we’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to join our team for a 12-month maternity cover contract, with the potential for ongoing employment.

Role Overview:
As our Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our community engaged, informed, and excited about our products. This is a part-time, hybrid role that starts on-site for the first three months before transitioning to a flexible work model.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Ideation: Develop 3-4 weekly email concepts that align with ongoing campaigns, product launches, and marketing strategies, adding value to our customers through product insights, range highlights, and practical daily solutions.

Calendar Management: Maintain accurate and organised email records on a shared calendar, ensuring timely execution and alignment with broader marketing plans.

Creative Briefing: Collaborate with our graphics team, providing clear briefs through the Hubstaff platform to ensure cohesive and visually appealing designs.

Drafting and Publishing: Write, edit, and publish emails in Klaviyo, ensuring content is on-brand, impactful, and optimised for performance.

Customer Segmentation: Leverage email segmentation strategies to personalise communication and drive engagement across diverse customer groups.

Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with email marketing trends and best practices to continually enhance the effectiveness of our campaigns.

Team Collaboration: Contribute to a supportive team environment, participating in the Ecommerce Equation community for ongoing learning and collaboration.

Requirements:

Previous experience in email marketing, preferably within the e-commerce or fashion industry.

Strong copywriting skills with an eye for detail and brand tone.

Experience with Klaviyo (or similar email platforms) and Hubstaff for project management.

Understanding of customer segmentation and lifecycle marketing.

Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team.

Proactive, organised, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
