A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Medical Secretary/ Administrative Assistant to work for a Multidisciplinary Specialist Practice in Fitzroy.
We specialize in Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases and Pain Management.
The role is a permanent part-time role and is located in Fitzroy.
Monday, Thursday and Friday 9-5pm
Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Answering incoming calls
Patient enquiries and booking appointments.
Responding to email enquiries/scanning
Coordinating consulting sessions including preparation
Managing the day-to-day billings and patient accounts
Hospital bookings
Providing administrative support to the Practice manager & Specialists
To be successful in the role you will need to possess the following:
Medical experience a must, specialist practice preferred.
Experience in Genie or Gentu, preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Forward thinking and planning
Ability to work unsupervised/autonomously.
Ability to work under pressure/busy environment.
Sound administration skills including attention to detail and accuracy.
Confidentiality and emotional intelligence
Effective time management skills
The salary is slightly negotiable and will be commensurate with knowledge and experience.
