First Nations Advocates Against Family Violence (FNAAFV) is seeking expressions of interest for a part-time (0.5 FTE) Research Officer to contribute to the evidence base supporting the DFSV Sector Strengthening Plan. The successful candidate will play a key role in the design and implementation of research activities, including:
Coordinating and conducting qualitative data collection activities, such as interviews with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders.
Supporting the development and distribution of surveys across the DFSV sector.
Analysing qualitative and quantitative data to identify sector priorities, trends, and gaps.
Thematically coding findings and producing written summaries to support policy development.
Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and briefings for key stakeholders.
Upholding the principles of cultural safety, data sovereignty, and First Peoples-led research throughout the research process.
