The opportunity

The First Nations Support Officer encourages First Nations students and their families to actively engage and participate in all activities in the student’s education and school community.

In this rewarding role, you will support school staff in learning programs by working with students and providing First Nations perspectives within curriculum areas, assisting with developing an awareness of cultural protocols and the needs of First Nations students and their families.

About You

proven experience in working effectively as a team member to achieve positive outcomes for First Nations students and their families.

candidates with proven experience in a similar role at a school will be highly regarded.

either hold a current Paid Blue Card for working with children issued by Blue Card Services or be eligible to obtain one prior to commencing in this role
