Workfast is currently seeking experienced Production Hands to join a leading timber manufacturer based in Fyshwick, ACT.

Pay Rate: $35 p/hr + OT and Super
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm
Location: Fyshwick, ACT

As a Production Hand you will be part of a dedicated team producing premium timber battens used in a variety of construction applications. Your duties will include assisting in the manufacturing process, operating machinery, and maintaining safety and quality standards. A valid forklift licence is essential for this role.

Duties:

• Operating and maintaining production machinery
• Assisting in the assembly and manufacturing process
• Forklift operation and material handling
• Performing quality control checks
• General factory duties and housekeeping
• Following WHS procedures and instructions

Requirements:

• Valid Forklift Licence (LF) – mandatory
• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Physically fit and capable of manual tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic
• Able to work effectively in a team environment
• Full working rights in Australia
