Our Client, a large Federal Government Department is seeking to engage an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner to assist with a large scale transformation project that will modernise delivering end to end entitlement management.

The Project will engage a range of internal and external stakeholders and will require significant change across technology, people, processes and structures.

The Product Management team is a small and agile multi-disciplinary team works closely with the business areas, users and our IT delivery partner to understand business needs, deliver engagement solutions and ensure to:

• Develop high level requirements for the system build;
• Work with Service Designers and User Experience Designers to ensure the design will meet business and user needs;
• Coordinate user research to validate opportunities and usability;
• Ensure that business stakeholder needs are represented to the IT Solution and Build teams;
• Act in the role of Product Owners for the project.

To be suitable for this role, you will have:

• Have previous demonstrated experience working as a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst on projects of a similar scale;
• Have demonstrated experience in developing a range of artifacts such as User Journeys, Business Process Models, High Level Requirements, and other conceptual models;
• Have demonstrated experience in assisting IT development teams to break down and prioritise high level outcome into features and user stories that can be delivered iteratively;
• Follow the department's protocols for communication with stakeholders, format of documents, clearance processes, consultation, timeframes, and security arrangements;
• work collegiately with other contractors and consultants employed by the department and partner agencies;
• Experience working with and/or within the Australian Government;
