AWX services Australia supply contract staff, permanent recruitment, casual, and total workforce administration. AWX employs quality people, partner industry leaders, develop growing and sustainable workforce solutions and manage ongoing relationships with our industry partners.
Our client has multiple $500M Road Projects, working on various sites locally covering areas between Ayr, Moranbah, and Marlborough. The remit of these projects will vary from site to site, including road upgrades, broadening of roads, culverts, footpaths, and the like.

Positions available:

• Leading Hands - strong leadership to support the Supervisor with day to day tasks and delivering projects on time within budgets
• Labourers - Must have current MR Licence AND 2 x machine tickets

Project Scopes:

• Rates $45 - $49p/hr + Super depending on role and experience
• Mon-Fri Rosters & 10/4 Roster, 9-10hr days (site dependent)
• Ongoing works for strong performers
• Transport from Mackay, accommodation and meals provided
• Full kit of Shirts, pants, boots, and PPE supplied.

What we need:

• Minimum 12 months exp in civil roadworks or similar
• Must have white/blue construction card
• 12+ months in Leading Hand or similar role in CIVIL WORKS
• Ability to work long hours in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to work away on 10/4 rosters
• Reliable and flexible workers.
You will be required to undergo a medical assessment which includes a Drug & Alcohol screen.
