We are a well-established Japanese restaurant known for our commitment to authentic cuisine, fresh ingredients, and exceptional service. We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled kitchen team member to join our team and support our Head Chef in delivering high-quality Japanese dishes.
Responsibilities:
Assist Head Chef in daily kitchen operations
Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
Supervise kitchen staff and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Help with inventory, ordering, and cost control
Contribute to menu planning and seasonal specials
Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
Qualifications:
1+ years of experience in a professional kitchen (experience with Asian cuisine required)
Knowledge of traditional Japanese cooking techniques (sushi, sashimi, tempura, etc.)
Leadership experience or natural leadership skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work on dinner time and weekend
