We are currently on the hunt for a high energy, self-motivated and experienced event sales professional who enjoys securing social events, conferences and meetings business for the hotel and converting queries to contracts. You will:

Be able to efficiently qualify and sell the hotel and meeting rooms for conference and events and accommodation relating to C&E via sales calls to potential and existing partners.

Achieve monthly budget for C&E. Exceed set KPIs

Consistently strive to develop relationships with new and repeat booking customers to increase revenue and demand.

Take a holistic approach in the role: Set up rooms, booking administration including proposals, contracts, BEOs, be the host on the event day.

Coordination and host site inspections of hotel and conference facilities.

Be willing to come and work on a weekend, if needed, to support the team.

In addition, as we rebuild the business the role will also include hands on operational supervision of the C&E space.

Your experience and skills include:

Previous experience in a similar role within a full-service upper scale hotel environment.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and a drive for hotel sales.

Ability to develop relationships with clients, suppliers and other departments within the hotel, a high level of attention to detail, and time management.

Positive demeanor, excellent personal presentation, takes initiative and solves problems.
