The Company

Robert half is looking for a dedicated and motivated Finance Officer to join a dynamic team at a reputable company. Their commitment to excellence, innovation, and teamwork has positioned them as a true leader in their field.

This role will require you to manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable function. This will include; invoice processing, reporting, reconciliations, inbox and query management, month-end processes and ad hoc finance support to the Finance Manager.

This is a temp contract opportunity for a minimum duration of 5 months. If you are immediately available and are ready to join a motivated and supportive finance team with a fantastic culture… this role will be for you!

The Role

You will report to the Finance Manager and carry out the responsibilities of the Finance Officer.

Some typical duties will involve:

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in reconciling bank statements and maintaining financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency in the finance department.
- Provide support for audits and internal financial reviews.

Your Profile

To be successful you will have proven experience in a high-volume accounting and finance role, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in both Accounts Payable and Receivable End-to-End function. The following attributes will also be highly advantageous:

- Strong excel skills and ERP Accounting system experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
