Scope Home Access is Australia's largest not-for-profit service provider of home modification and maintenance services (Allied Health and Construction). Established in 1985, Scope Home Access delivers services across the Illawarra region, South-Eastern NSW, Southern Highlands NSW, Hunter region, NSW Capital Country and the ACT.

A little more about the role

The position of Finance Officer sits within the Finance Division and reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Key functions include:

Asset Management

Creating financial statements for internal and external company requirements

Supporting audit projects

Day-to-day finance activities including reconciliations

Carrying out activities within the division in line with the company’s strategic goals

Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to improve financial acumen relevant to their roles and functions

Providing input into processes to improve efficiencies within the division

A little about you

Diploma in Accounting or similar qualification in business or commerce

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organisational skills

Experience in the use of Xero accounting software

Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel skills

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Competent in problem-solving, planning and making decisions

Be able to relate operational activities to financial results

Permanent Full-Time 35 hrs/week
