Telstra Business Technology Centre (TBTC) provides Communications and ICT solutions to small and medium Telstra business customers. The TBTC network is part of a fully branded Telstra channel designed to provide professional services to support business customers integrate tailored tech solutions. That means less time troubleshooting tech, and more time taking care of business.
Due to continued growth, we are looking for a new Account Manager to the TBTC family. We are looking for a motivated and ambitious sales professional with a passion for technology to join our high-performing team. We want to hear from individuals who are driven to achieve sales targets, whilst delivering on our customer excellence promises.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a handpicked portfolio of Telstra business customers across a wide range of industries. We are searching for someone with the ability to build long term relationships with customers and identify Telstra products, services and solutions that can support their business goals.
Key accountabilities:
• Developing sales and knowledge capability across Telstra’s broad range of business products and services.
• Building a sales pipeline through identifying and solving customer needs.
• Responding to all new and existing business enquires.
• Keeping up-to-date with current business technology trends.
• Booking appointments for the Telstra Business Technology Centre team.
• Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders.
• Processing orders and using multiple CRM and product specific systems. We are looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
• Strong business acumen and relationship management/account management skills.
• Enthusiastic and KPI-focussed.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working in a phone-based role.
• Objection handling and complaints management skills.
• Passion for learning and using new technologies.
