Your New Role
As the Roads, Infrastructure & Assets Coordinator, you'll lead high-impact roadworks and infrastructure projects across multiple locations, working closely with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders. You’ll manage capital works and asset strategies that support housing, disaster recovery, environmental sustainability, and more.
Key responsibilities:
Oversee road construction, upgrades, and maintenance projects
Manage capital works, tenders, contractor performance, and WHS compliance
Develop and implement asset management plans and project schedules
Conduct inspections and coordinate travel across remote communities
Support grant funding submissions and infrastructure strategy
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in civil construction, asset management, or infrastructure coordination
Strong skills in contractor supervision, budgeting, and compliance
Certificate IV in Civil, Construction, or Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Current Driver Licence, WWC Card, and Criminal History Check
Experience working in or with Aboriginal communities is highly valued
You're a hands-on leader who thrives in dynamic environments, can adapt to remote work settings, and understands the importance of cultural awareness and community-focused outcomes.
