We are looking for qualified nurses (Registered and Enrolled) and Disability Support Workers.

These are casual positions (minimum 15 hours) with potential to enter into part time contract arrangements.

When required we also provide individual care in our fit-for- purpose Short and Mid-term accommodation facilities and we are hiring and currently searching for Registered Nurses to join our team.

For our Nurses:

Looking for an experienced self-starters to work within our team and to train and developed our junior nurses with a focus on:

Continence assessment and reports

Catheters (male and female)

Wound care (simple and complex)

Medication administration and management

Behaviors assessment

Mental health

IV insertion and management

Case management

Management of Palliative Care

For our Disability Support Workers (DSW)

Shift Patterns: Monday to Sunday

Staff must be flexible with availability to working hours EG: morning, afternoon and evening shifts including sleep overs at our respite sites

Assist participants in a range of meaningful activities that promote inclusion

Facilitate programs that promote innovative service delivery that meets the needs of service participants.

Assist service participants with personal care requirements including , hygiene, medication, behaviour support and other personal needs

Undertake a Key Worker role in supporting service participants to achieve outcomes.

Experience working with behaviors of concern a bonus.

A demonstrated understanding of restrictive practices

Experience and understanding in following a Behavior Support Plan

The ability to provide details for two supervisors who can provide a reference specifically in relation to your experience with behaviors of concern.

Do you have?

• Availability to work across a variety of shifts on a 7-day rotating roster.

• Flexibility with availability and scheduling to meet the changing needs of patients.

• Current Registration with AHPRA

• Current VIC Drivers License.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Commitment to on-going education and self-directed learning and ongoing education of our Enrolled Nurses and Senior Disability Support Workers

• Demonstrated understanding of nursing codes of practice.

• Ability to educate patients & family on the management of conditions at home.

Essential Requirements

• Current Registration with AHPRA

• Current VIC Drivers License.

• Current Police Check (this can also be completed prior to successful employment outcome)

• International police check if worked or lived outside of Australia for more than 12 months within the last 10 years.

• Completion of NDIS Worker Screening Check (can be completed post stage 1 recruitment)

• Must satisfy all visa requirements for working in Australia.
