A major government department is seeking three highly skilled Senior Business Analysts to support the transformation of its core Business System. This is a complex, large-scale modernisation programme requiring analysts with demonstrated expertise in business process modelling, stakeholder engagement, Agile delivery, and full lifecycle systems replacement.

About the Role

As a Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a vital role in ensuring this complex transformation meets the needs of both the organisation and its users. You'll work closely with frontline staff, internal developers, and external partners to translate business needs into practical, tested outcomes.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking three experienced and proactive Senior Business Analysts who can bring the following:

• 10+ year's experience as a Business Analyst
• Government experience is highly desirable
• Strong self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
• A clear, logical thinker who thrives in fast-paced, iterative environments
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - comfortable working with stakeholders up to executive level
• Experience across the full project life cycle, particularly large system replacement or modernisation projects
• Proven ability to work with software vendors and build effective relationships with Subject Matter Experts and technical teams
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with Azure DevOps for requirements and development tracking
• Skilled in process modelling using BPMN and appropriate modelling tools
• Able to handle sensitive data and uphold legislative and procedural obligations around confidentiality and access

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate closely with other project team members to ensure a shared understanding of goals and deliverables
• Act as the conduit between business users, internal developers, and partner technical teams
• Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and trace requirements through to delivery and testing
• Lead and facilitate workshops with clear agendas and actionable outcomes
• Produce high-quality process models, documentation, and artefacts
• Evaluate scope changes and their potential impacts
• Support testing, change management, and business readiness activities
• Help troubleshoot issues pre- and post-go-live
