Robert Half is currently partnering with a well-regarded organisation based in Osborne Park who are seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer to join their team on a 3-month contract.

This role is ideal for a payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can hit the ground running.

The Role:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring the timely and accurate payment of employees, and compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Processing weekly/fortnightly payroll for a medium to large workforce
• Interpreting awards, EBAs and contracts
• Managing payroll queries and resolving discrepancies
• Preparing payroll reports and reconciliations
• Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
• Supporting audits and compliance checks

Your Profile:

• Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing
• Strong understanding of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Availability to start immediately or on short notice
• Able to commit to a 3 month contract
