Are you an experienced Payroll Officer with a keen eye for detail and a strong background in SAP? Join one of our leading tier 1 gold mining companies and become an essential part of a dynamic team. This is an initial 3-month contract with the possibility of permanent employment for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with all legal and statutory obligations, including PAYG, superannuation, third-party payments, and SOX compliance

Accurately process payroll using SAP, maintaining a high standard of data integrity

Manage payroll for high-volume headcounts, preferably with monthly cycle experience

Provide professional, timely, and accurate advice on payroll-related queries

Prioritise tasks effectively, maintaining attention to detail in all payroll processes

Communicate payroll requirements and timelines clearly to relevant stakeholders.

Ideal candidate:

Minimum of 2 years of basic payroll administration experience and 1 year of comprehensive payroll experience

Proficiency in SAP HR/Payroll Module is essential

Experience with SuccessFactors Employee Central is highly desirable

Strong customer service skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment

Must be able to pass a full medical and D&A
