ROUSSOS Recruitment is pleased to be partnering with a leading South Australian civil contractor who have secured a strong pipeline of upcoming work and are looking to engage a driven Project Manager. With a professional and innovative approach, they have delivered some of SA’s most challenging local and state government infrastructure projects. Their project capabilities span across a range of sectors including civil and infrastructure, structural concrete and landscaping.

The Role
As the Project Manager, you will take ownership of projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. With a diverse range of projects in the pipeline—including complex concrete structures, roadworks, and civil infrastructure—you will lead and inspire a team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects, including site development, infrastructure improvements, and environmental enhancements
• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and oversee their implementation to ensure project objectives are achieved
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements
• Manage project risks, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to mitigate delays or cost overruns
• Prepare and present project status reports, updates, and presentations to clients, stakeholders, and senior management

The Like Mind
You will demonstrate a proven track record of successfully completing various civil construction projects. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering will be advantage, along with a demonstrated capacity to thrive in dynamic environments. It is preferable that you hold hands-on experience working on a diverse range of civil projects and your strong communication skills are vital as the role entails collaborating with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-conscious project deliver.
