About the role
The Head of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading Brimble’s sales, marketing, and tender/bid management functions to drive business growth, market expansion, and long-term revenue sustainability. This role ensures Brimble’s brand positioning, lead generation, and customer relationships are aligned with strategic goals. The position also plays a key role in developing and executing commercial strategies that maximise revenue, profitability, and market share.
Key Accountabilities
Lead and manage the entire sales process, ensuring alignment with business objectives to drive revenue and profit growth.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners to maximise sales opportunities.
Develop and execute effective marketing strategies to strengthen Brimble’s brand positioning in the industry.
Oversee market research initiatives to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive insights that inform sales and marketing activities.
Lead the tender/bid management process, ensuring that proposals are high-quality, competitive, and compliant with client requirements.
Work closely with internal teams to create winning bids and effective contract negotiations.
Foster long-term relationships with clients, industry partners, and stakeholders to enhance customer retention, identify new opportunities, and support business growth.
About You
You’re a confident communicator and natural organiser with a passion for commercial growth and brand strategy. You may not have led a large team yet, but you're ready to take the next step in your career and bring fresh energy to a role with plenty of scope.
You’ve studied Marketing, Business, or a related field—or have equivalent practical experience.
You have experience working across both sales and marketing functions, and you're ready to step into a leadership role.
You’ve been involved in developing sales strategies or campaigns and understand what drives revenue and customer engagement.
You have a solid understanding of marketing principles, especially branding, lead generation, and customer targeting.
You’ve supported or contributed to tender or proposal submissions and are keen to sharpen those skills further.
You’re great with people—building rapport with clients, suppliers, and internal teams comes naturally.
You’re analytical by nature and enjoy using data to shape decisions and refine your approach.
Note: This role may require some travel and occasional work outside of normal business hours to attend functions, events and key networking forums.
