Nicks Restaurant & Bar Group is a dynamic, well established hospitality group dedicated to delivering top-tier produce and outstanding customer experience. We’re seeking a driven and strategic Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our growth initiatives.
Your Role:
As the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales strategies and marketing campaigns that drive revenue, increase brand awareness, and expand our customer base. An understanding/ experience in digital media space would also be beneficial.
Working across three large, established and versatile venues in stunning darling harbour, they lend themselves to al la carte dining from small to very large groups, canape events, corporate groups, exclusive use hire.
Being in a high traffic location we have a significant influx of both local and international clientele. With the International Convention Center, reputable hotels and corporate offices at our door step, the scope for opportunity is endless.
Primary Responsibilities:
· To evaluate the current processes for functions including enquiries, bookings and follow up.
· Create templates for all aspects of the function process, as identified in the evaluation of processes
· Effectively communicate all function requirements, comments and new procedures to Restaurant Manager’s, Staff and Chef’s, and other departments as required.
· To constantly be vigilant of new business opportunities and ready to action, as well as create new business opportunities through cold calling
· Warm calling of contacts from past quotations and business
· Issue quotations approved by the General Manager and set appropriate traces to ensure follow up is done
· Ensure deposits are received and payments made in line with Nick’s policies
· Conduct site inspections and host clients – approval for all complimentary activities to be gained by the General Manager
· Gain feedback from clients regarding events, dinners and unsuccessful results and communicate results to the General Manager
· Build and maintain a good working relationship including communication with all other departments and restaurants
· Build and maintain relationships with vendors, industry partners and clients
· Set individual goals to increase business in conjunction with the General Manager
· Attention to detail and proof reading to ensure accurate, high quality, mistake free work
· To monitor and be aware of competitor activity
