Traffic Management Designer – Traffic Management | Sydney (Bondi Junction)

KPI Group is seeking a highly capable and self-driven Traffic Management Designer to oversee traffic control operations across our Sydney region. This role is pivotal in managing day-to-day site operations while driving planning excellence across our Traffic Brands.

📍 Location: Bondi Junction, NSW

Key Responsibilities:

Independently manage end-to-end traffic operations, workforce deployment, and on-site execution

Plan, draft, and review Traffic Guidance Schemes (TGS), Traffic Management Plans (TMPs), and Construction Traffic Management Plans (CTMPs) in alignment with Austroads and state-specific guidelines

Submit and manage permit applications to Local Government Authorities and State Road Authorities

Coordinate with planning, compliance, and delivery teams to ensure seamless execution

Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring high service standards and repeat business

Ensure full regulatory compliance and support continuous improvement across operations

What We're Looking For:

Minimum 2 years of proven experience in traffic operations, traffic planning, or related project coordination

Advanced planning and drafting skills with strong attention to detail and legislative knowledge

Strong working knowledge of traffic control regulations in NSW (TfNSW, TCAWS, WHS legislation)

Ability to work autonomously and make sound operational decisions in high-pressure environments

Strong interpersonal and stakeholder communication skills

Current and valid driver's licence required
