About the role

We are seeking a part-time Accounts Officer to join the finance team at Knox Gymnastics Club in our Wantirna South, VIC location. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial management of the club.

What you'll be doing

Process accounts payable and receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner

Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a regular basis

Prepare invoices, statements and other financial reports as required

Supporting month end and year-end financial processes.

Payroll processing

Provide support to the finance team and other departments as needed

Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounts officer or similar finance role

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices

Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills

Proficient in the use of XERO accounting software and spreadsheet applications

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong communication and customer service skills
